Dr. Williams started her academic journey in history, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in the subject! Yet, she soon decided that she wanted to be a veterinarian. She went back to school for math and science so she could meet the requirements to apply for veterinary school. After graduating from the University of Missouri with her DVM in 2000, she had completed a total of 10 years in school! As a member of our team, the most rewarding part of the job is surgery, which she enjoys performing as well as the challenges it brings.

At home, Dr. Williams has two children, Emma and Hailey, as well as three pets including: her rescued dog, Marlin; a cat named Muffin; and her daughter's bearded dragon, Grendel. In her spare time, she loves traveling with her family and friends, and especially enjoys her annual “girls’ trip” which is a 25+ year tradition!
