Dr. Lyons graduated from Colorado State University's School of Veterinary Medicine and completed a rigorous dual degree with a PhD in Biomedical Engineering. She worked at veterinary hospitals in Denver, Fort Lauderdale and Miami prior to relocating to Chicago and joining the Old Town Family. Her special interests include pharmacology and pain management, dental surgery and ultrasound. 

In her free time she volunteers with her goldendoodle, a therapy dog named Dr. Watson, by bringing joy and doodle fluffs to human hospitals. She enjoys being active outdoors with her husband and two dogs (Roxy and Dr. Watson) through traveling, backcountry skiing, paddle boarding and rock climbing.
