Dr. Mankowski graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor's in Animal Science, followed by her DVM degree from University of Wisconsin Madison. She originally grew up in the southwest suburbs of Chicago and gained her passion for animals while growing up with 4 dogs. Dr. Mankowski finds veterinarian medicine to be a unique profession in that she can help people by helping their pets. She strives to make treatment decisions collaboratively, tailoring the plan to each individual pet and parent.

In her free time, Dr. Mankowski has enjoyed exploring Chicago's various music venues, restaurants, creator's markets, and waterside activities. She dabbles in crocheting, yoga and roller blading. She has strong ties to Michigan, and enjoys escaping the city there when she can.
