How Often Your Pet Should Be Vaccinated in Old Town, Chicago

Puppies and kittens generally receive a series of distemper boosters beginning at 6-8 weeks old and ending at 12-16 weeks. For adult dogs and cats, they should receive their rabies vaccine annually, and their Bordetella vaccine biannually (if recommended). Bordetella, Lyme, leptospirosis, feline leukemia, and canine influenza are given depending on your pet’s risk of exposure to those diseases.
